With your permission, this app reads calendar events from the Google Account
that authorizes it, using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar
scope. It reads only. It does not create, modify or delete events.
Only the account owner. The app is not offered to the public and has no sign-up. The only person who authorizes it is the person who operates the server it runs on.
Calendar data is fetched directly by a self-hosted Home Assistant instance running on private hardware on a private network. It is not sent to any third party, not sold, not shared, not used for advertising, and not used to train any model. There is no analytics, no tracking and no third-party processor.
Home Assistant stores the OAuth tokens it needs to keep reading the calendar, and caches upcoming events locally so automations can run. Both live only on the operator's own machine. Revoking access at Google Account permissions immediately and permanently ends this app's access.
Cached event data is discarded as Home Assistant refreshes it. Removing the integration deletes the stored tokens.
